Question: About Gossip Girl!?
Since I can't bring myself to endure watching the show, I need to know something!. On a radio show, it was presented by the guest that the books, and other book series like it, were basically amoral, shallow, with no punishment for selfishness and so on, so that the lesson is that being a self absorbed piece of garbage is acceptable!. Is the television series also like that!? Are the books actually that bad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Firstly everyone has a right to their own opinion so it is okay unless it is not offending anyone personally!.
It's just the way the show is written!. Some films/shows are written about being poor,some about loosing someone, about following your dreams!. This show is a bit different as everyone is quite rich except for a few characters!. The "poor" characters also show the impact and affects of being around rich kids!. The show is just a bit different and not ordinary!. It is getting popular and it has a LOT of drama!.!.!.the storylines are unique!.!.!.The show doesn't deal with the normal day-to-day routines like going to skool, buying this buying that,etc but it does show other daily routines and normal stuff like scandals, sex(ocasionally ONLY) and jealousy,love,etc!. and it also has an episode about how committed you need to be to do the SATs and one episode is about their ambitions and future schools (dartmouth,princeton,yale,brown)!.
SO my opinion is i like the show a lot!.!.
