Question: Does the frequency of advert breaks on whatever channel irritate anybody !?!?
I try not to be a couch potato, however there are snippets that i do like to watch for whatever reason, and i have changed some 15 channels consecutive before now to find adverts on every channel i have switched to, and for me it's almost becoming annoying!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I find advertisements on TV intensely irritating!. I realise that commercial broadcasters must have adverts to be able to fund their programmes, but they have recently increased the frequency of them from two breaks in an hour's programme, to three!. At least on satellite broadcasting, with the exception of Film4, they do not put adverts on during the film, which terrestrial broadcasters do!.
What is even worse is that the BBC have started to "advertise" programmes on their other channels, and to mention sponsors during sporting events, which, until recently, they were specifically prohibited from doing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I reckon the worst ones for it are Desperate housewives & Lost - you get about 3 minutes in & there's a bloody advert!.

I took an NBC studio tour and they told us that the networks synchronize it so they're all showing commercials the same time so you don't channel surf and switch shows!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
