i'm only gonna accept the fact that cook won if those 12 million votes are also 12 million americans!. american idol should do something about their voting system, like 5 maximum votes for only one cellphone or landline to reflect what america wants as their idol!.it just shows who can vote faster on what they are doing, not what america prefers as their new idol!.!. plus american idol is a popularity contest not a singing competition!. and the producers only thinks about MONEY and RATINGS!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree that little David was quite the cutie pie and had a sweet voice that was wonderful to listen to but the "after" story of Idol is what kind of success do the winners have!? And this show, while producing some major stars, has also had too many disappointments and lost credibility with not-so-talented singers making it into the later rounds!.
So, on balance, I think David Cook has a greater chance at a successful recording career!. I think more people will buy genuine rock n' roll than dreamy tunes by a cute kid!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think there's something wrong with that!.David Cook would've been better off without winning!.I mean come on, 12 million difference!?I guess people just didn't vote!.But it's over now, and we'll still here from Archuleta in the future!.I think we can all learn from this: Each and every vote matters!.

Oh, and after the results were announced Paula was crying backstage!They showed her crying her eyes out backstage saying " Archuleta is such a cute little guy, andI ma just so proud of his future"

I don't know that the results are fixed!. It is just the way that they have the voting system set up!. They don't limit the number of times that you can call or text from a particular phone line!. I'm sad that Archie lost, but both he and Cook are great singers and they will both do fine!. But, I do agree that 12 million is an awful lot of votes --- but as I have said before --- that does not reflect the actual number of people who voted --- there is just no way to tell!. And, last year Sanjaya kept staying in because he got so many votes --- and then Jordin and Blake ended up in the finals!. I was rooting for Lakisha and Melinda!. I was disappointed, but unless they change the way they allow the votes to come in --- it will just be who can call the same number the most times!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It is not fixed!. Judges are biased for David Archie b'cos he is a goody boy and can sing as well!. For all fairness, most of the fans voted for vocal talent which Cook has, right from the start!. I noticed Cook is versatile in his choice of songs!.
Simon's harsh comments sometimes is a blessing in disguise; which makes fans sympathise and want to vote extra for Cook!. I really think Cook deserves the title which was my prediction!. When there were 10 contestants left, I told my family this guy 'Cook' is different and has potential!.

Results are not fixed!. Cook fans thought David A would win!. So they and all their friends voted as many times as they could to knock David A out of the lead!. It worked!. David A fans thought he had it wrapped up and didn't vote as much!. That's my theory!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
