The Simpsons is cleverly written and follows a storyline that usually has a meaning at the end or comments on society!. The Simpons can be viewed by any audience young or old, and can be found very entertaining!. This is why the Simpsons has remained on the air for two decades!. Althoguh the latest season haven't been as good as their glory days, they still deliver!.
Family Guy has a basic plot and a plethora of pop-culture jokes!. About 10-15 minutes of the show is actually the storyline, the rest of the show is just randomly implanted jokes that either make an obscure pop-culture reference or a completely ridiculous sitiuation!. This is why Family Guy can be found entertaining!. With all the pop-culture jokes, the viewer thinks "Hey I remeber that!" and connects to the viewer!. The problem with Family Guy is, not everyone can watch it!. Either the jokes are too vulgar for the youger audiences or the jokes are not understood due to not knowing the pop-culture reference!.
Overall, I am a fan of both!. If I had to choose one!. I'd have say the Simpsons because the jokes have so much more meaning, and thus the jokes are much more solid!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Family guy is way better then the Simpsons because Family Guy is a more modern tv show thats random and unpredictable!. Whereas the Simpsons are kinda of old fashioned in terms of values (a little bit)!.
