Carly is just dumb!. I mean, Morgan is like 6 years old, there's no way he can forget his dad, and it's not like he'll think that Jax is his dad or something!. And with Jason around (you know Carly'll never dump him off like Sonny), Morgan will have a constant reminder of the 'family business'!. Plus, even if Sonny's gone, the Zacharas or the Lansings or Jerry or something will see this as an open oppurtunity to screw over Jason Morgan, or to drive Sonny out of hiding, or something! I've never liked Carly, and I'd be just fine if she dropped off the face of the earth along with little miss Elizabeth Spencer (she ruined jason)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Morgan looks about six to me -- that's plenty old enough to have concrete memories, especially of someone as important in a child's life (for better or, in this case, worse) as a father or father figure!. That doesn't mean cutting Sonny out of his life is the wrong thing to do, but Carly really does need to anticipate the consequences and how she'll explain it all to Morgan, both now and in the years to come!.

I think Carly is desperate and will do and say anything, at this point, to get Sonny out of her life (and the lives of her kids)!.
But she's wrong!. Morgan is not a baby!. He's 5 years old!. He knows who his mother and father are!. He will not just forget that Sonny is his daddy!. Worse, he's going to wonder where his daddy is and he'll blame himself and think he did something bad to make his daddy go away all of a sudden!. Not only that, but when he grows up, he'll be angry and feel that his father abandoned him!. And that will affect every relationship he has with anyone else!. Carly is setting up Morgan for a world of hurt by forcing Sonny out of his life!. Any psychologist worth their salt would tell her the same thing!. She should go see a therapist and learn to cope w/her grief!. She needs to take a step back and not make such a life altering decision while she is emotional!. Yes, he's young enough to forget him!. I think he would KNOW who his biological father is, but would forget him in time!. I was 9 when my dad died, I have a few memories of him, like a picture, not real memories and I was older than Morgan is supposed to be!. Plus he has Jax to treat him like son!.

Same old story same old song and dance, They have done this for years, one of the few consistent things producers have done!. Sonny may file the papers, but if he signs over the business to Jason and the kids to Sonny, then where does that leave Sonny!?
