I read a report where he was forced out of the back stage area and made to sit with Idol Lawyers for the last episode!. The poor kids has to go home to that nut job after losing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

His dad is a case! I had read he was banned from Star Search and other shows that little David had tried to be on because of his horrible behavior!. David is a good, sweet kid!. His dad is a sad case!. They say he was backstage badmouthing the other contestants [like Jason] and making them feel very insecure and like they were no good!. Maybe that's why Brooke was in tears all the time! Who knows!. All I know is, never in Idol history have they had to force a parent away like they did Archie's dad!. Legally, they could not make the dad leave and had to allow him backstage to continue his bad behavior, but once he forced David to insert lines from a song that Idol did not have the rights to, only then were they able to take action against him!. Who knows how long he was back there raging at his son and other contestants and making life a living heck!? I do feel afraid for the kid!. Maybe social services will check on him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't think he was a "nut job", just overly suffocating!. He had his son insert lines from different songs into the one song he was supposed to sing!. As a result, Fox had to pay for the rights to two songs instead of one!. Fox banned him for financial reasons, not character or behavioral issues!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Before he was banned, I always heard that his dad was a terrible "show dad" meaning he put a lot of pressure on his son and always told him what to do, etc!. It has to be hard for Archie to have fun when he has all of that pressure on him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
