Horatio asked the mother of his son to meet him at the airport!. She leaves early but leaves her son behind!. He says, "Where are you going!? we're supposed to meet dad!.!.!. etc" and she said she has to take care of something!. She leaves!. The son pulls a gun out of his bag on the bed!.!.!. sets it up like he's getting ready for something then puts it in his bag!.!.!.!. anyway I'm trying to work it up to the end for you!.
Horatio is standing by the plane that should be taking his the mom and son away but they don't show up and the pilot closes the door and is ready to leave!. Horatio is standing there and all takes off his glasses!. All of a sudden there is a shot!. He has been shot!. He goes down!.
He lies on the ground and bleeds out!. Music playing!.!.!. no movement!. we don't see anything we're just watching Horatio lying helpless face down on the ground!. His stare is blank!.!.!. off in the distance and we pan out to his glass which he was holding at the time!.!.!. where there is now a hole in them!. Obviously the bullet went right on through!.

While he was waiting for Julia at the airport, he was shot in the back!.!.!.at the end he's still alive but is on the verge of dying!.!.!.before the scene we see that Julia leaves her house and Kyle, telling him that she has something to do!.!.!.Kyle is seen having a gun in his bag!.!.!.and Julia's boyfriend/husband (!?) is seen looking at the bullets he bought from the dealer!.!.!.so it's ambiguous who shot him!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Horatio isn`t dead!. I`m sure it was a set up arranged by Horatio with the help of Ryan and maybe even Julia!. David Caruso has signed for next season so for sure he`ll be back!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
