Question: Did Simon Cowell help Cook win!?
By his little reverse psychology trick he did!? By giving Archuleta such praise, when watching Cook he performed amazingly!. That u2 and Collective Soul performances were amazing, yet Simon still gave him a nothing close to a rave review!. Why!? And did it push Cook fans to vote, vote, and KEEP on voting!?
I know I sure did!. Simon has taken a special liking to Cook all season, as he did with Leona Lewis on the X-Factor!. He gets behind contestants and backs them 100%, and going onto Leno saying he wished Cook to win before Tuesday's performances!.

He has been rooting for Cook for the half of the AI season due to Cook's memorable performances!. Cmon, there are about 7 out of 12 performances of his that stand out----that's quite a feat!! No Idol has ever done that!.
I was thinking that he was so sure Cook would win!. Even polls, critics, AI experts have been saying that Cook would win last weekend!. They must have thought that Cook would also give the Finals the "usual" great performance!.!.!.!.
He must have been truly disappointed and he was just expressing his feelings!. I seriously doubt that at this stage, Cook fans would suddenly stop voting for him just because he had an OFF night!. AND HONESTLY, it wasnt even an OFF night!. He was amazing during the final 2---people just expected too much!. If u've noticed, Cook was like performing in a concert instead of a competition!.!.!.
They've always been overpraising Archey since the beginning that they havent noticed how big Cook's fanbase is at the end where it truly mattered!. His itunes sold more than other contestants (and his "hits" have been consistent- check rickey!.org) and even his collectibles (the tshirts, etc) were a hit (my friend told me this during the finale- she saw Cook's merchandise or whatever sold as fast as they come)
During the finale!.!.!.the solid fans power voted---plus the Castro, Carly, Michael etc fans voted more for Cook (I read that they were gathering forces to vote for Cook)!.!. It is not hard to imagine non-fans voting for Cook!. Even the votefortheworst guys bought his Itunes and said that it was great!.!.!. It is easy to imagine buying a Cook Cd or going to a Cook concert!.
However, I felt like the judges comments were actually bad for COOK!. It sounded like they were crowning Archey in advance without even looking at the progression of the show and how the votes have been in favor of Cook during the latter part of the show!.!.
Simon looked smug!. I cant really tell if he manipulated the crazy powervoting last Tuesday night!. I just know that it worked!.

I was thinking something like this too!. I don't watch the show too often, but I was up watching Leno and I remember Simon saying how he wanted Cook to win!. That stuck with me and even when I was watching the finale tonight, I was telling people how Simon wanted Cook to win!.

yes! i believe Simon Cowell helped Cook win because David Cook was his favorite among the other contestants!.

i think that in the finale archie did better than cook!.!.!.but over all i think cook did better on the season as a whole!! it's weird b/c they are 2 completely different kinds of singers! it's really like comparing apples to oranges!! i think they will both do great things so does it really matter!!?!Www@Enter-QA@Com
