Question: Does anyone else feel like Simon and Randy favored David Archuleta a lot more than David Cook!?
It seemed to me that both Simon and Randy were giving high praise to Archuleta but then calling Cook's performances just okay!. First Simon said round one goes to Archuleta!. Then he says round 2 goes to Archuleta!. Then in round 3 Randy says something about looking at the American Idol to Archuleta!. I think Paula was the only one who handled it well by just giving high praise to each performance!. I mean this is the TOP 2!!! I don't think you should be picking favorites and saying who's going to win!. Isn't that the voter's decision!?

I just whined about the same thing in other answers :p!. Yes David A was AMAZING and he definitely deserved credit for that, but David C was too, so he at least deserved a little credit!. I mean, for me, Round 1 was too close too call because those were about their best performances yet and Round 2 I have to give to Archie, though Cook was great too!. But Cook should've won Round 3 because he was brave enough to do a new song, which I thought was one of his best!. But,really, I think the judges should've just let both guys do their thing and show what they've got and just left it up to America to decide who they thought did better!. But I thought both of them were amazing, so I'll be happy whoever wins!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I completely agree with you!. They both did great but what really pissed me off is when David Cook finished his last song and he was having his moment and to me it felt like Simon just ruined it!.!. And what was all the "David A is choosing songs that are keeping in with the night" does that mean that David C!. should have been singing sappy fluffy This Is My Now type songs!. They have two totally different styles and it seems crazy to really compare them musically!. but i guess to each his ownWww@Enter-QA@Com

The point of the judges at this stage is to give their opinions!. They have no other purpose from the final 24 onward!. It is true that they favored Archuletta this week, but I would say that it was warranted!. Last week, Simon called the first round for David Cook when he thought Cook had done the best!. I think anyone watching the show this week would have given the edge to Little David!. I think it was too obvious for the judges not to be honest!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well it was unfair because Simon said he thinks David Cook is the one who deserves to win!. That is what he said before the finalie, and I think David Archuleta really prooved himself tonight and I think he really deserves to win!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

finally somebody who feels the same way i do!. simon annoyed me tonight!. it was unfair the way he treated david cook tonight!. i think randy has been on the david a train for a while now but simon also seemed to favor david a!. i think its unfair to put ideas into the heads of the voters like " david a won by knockout" and randy also suggested that david a is the american idol which upset me!. i think david cook was awesome and the collective soul adaptation was great!. looking forward to downloading it!. As for the comments they make about who they think will win, they could have been more neutral for sure since David C!. was pretty good tonite but in my opinion he chose, or had songs chosen for him that weren't outstanding to preform, it's not that he wasn't outstanding, you know!?
And that was what was missing that would have made the show sizzle, a little more of David C!. But David A!. is excellent, what a voice you can't deny that!.
David C!. is the big surprise in this season though, he didn't intend to audition and look how far he went!.

I really like David Cook too (David A!. is my favourite though), and I did feel bad too because David A!. was favoured, but you can't really say he didn't deserve it (David Archuleta, I mean)!. I mean, if they believed David Archuleta did better, it kinda gives them the right to praise him more than Cook!. What drives me nuts is sometimes, people say things, then they say totally other things!. People say Paula's too soft, doesn't judge, just gives nice commentary, and then people say the tohers give to hard!? No offense to you, I mean I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about other people!. And how they say David Archuleta should sing fast songs, and then when he does, he gets slammed down for them!. It gets me mad! But I totally get your point!. Both were really awesome!. I say vote for them equally, cause if you vote cook cause of that reason, it's like taking the sympathy vote!.
