I vote based on pure, raw, talent!. Not the one-dimensional I can only sing ballad crap that Archuleta fans think is genious, but rather I care about originality, charisma, stage presence, and ofcourse the preformances!. Cook has all of that!. He is versatile and doesn't fit into one genre mold that Archuleta does!.
I actually used to be a watcher of the show but never voted and never cared until I saw Michael Johns go home!. He was my favorite and maybe if I voted he would of stayed!. I liked him better than Cook to begin with!.

You vote so that you can determine the next American Idol - the winner is up to America!. The contestants have to sing certain songs and the judges tell you how you did!. After the show every Tuesday, they run through the whole show and n you get to call or text your vote to American Idol After the show!. As for this finale, I REALLY REALLY want David Archuleta to win!. I mean, he's AH-MAZING!!! I could go on forever about him, but there's just not enough time to fit it in!. Haha! lol!. Anyway, I think that he DESERVES to win because David Cook's BROTHER wanted to do this - not him!. I mean I LUV David Cook, but he auditioned "by accident!." He just somehow made it and his brother didn't!. I mean, I know that American Idol is to mostly find "hidden and unknown talent", but really!. Seriously - it's about whose the best!. And I know about what David Archuleta's dad did backstage, but you shouldn't punish him for something that he had nothing to do with!. David Archuleta auditioned for a reason and one reason only - to be the next American Idol!. It won't be fair if David Cook wins!. It's like 2 people taking a test!. If one studies really hard and the other one just obviously doesn't care, then it wouldn't be very fair if the one that didn't care got a 100 on the test and the one that actually studied got a lower grade!. I really want DAVID COOK to win becoz he IS the BEST and most talented!.!.!.!.unfortunately I have to watch it on Tivo (I get up at 2am to go to work)!.!.so I never get to vote:(

I haven't followed it this year, but in the past go by my fav singer!. yes they have to be cute or hot too!. I think to be an AI you have to have all!. That las guy with the gray hair was a flop!
