Who is your favourite writer of Doctor Who episodes?!
Question: Who is your favourite writer of Doctor Who episodes!?
I like Steven Moffat's writing!. Not only is it very unique, but it has a real genuine feel to it, like he is recording a true story, not fiction!.

Among the current batch, Steven Moffat is easily the best!. In fact he is not only the best writer of Doctor Who in recent years, but quite possibly the best current writer of drama for British television over all!.
His series for BBC1 last year, "Jekyll", was absolutely brilliant!. A fascinating and terrifying modern day sequal to Robert Louis Stevenson's "Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde"!.
His forthcoming Doctor Who two parter "Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead", looks like it's going to be another Moffat classic!. Just reading the blurb for it sent shivers running up and down my spine!.
In the radio times preview for series 4 of Doctor Who, published in April, Russel!. T Davies said - "Just to warn you, Steven Moffat created the 'Are you my mummy!?' Empty Child, Madame de Pompadour's Clockwork Droids and last year's Weeping Angels ('Don't blink!')!. But I think he was just warming up, getting ready for this year's adventure!. Now we've got two episodes of terror with an abandoned library, moving shadows, the gruesome Nodes, and the horrifying Data Ghost - possibly the most spine-chilling scene I've ever seen, anywhere!. Don't blink indeed, don't miss a second!"
Another favourite of mine from the new series, who is second only to Moffat in my view, is Paul Cornell who wrote the brilliant "Human Nature / Family of Blood"!.
From the classic series, I have a number of favourite writers over it's 26 year run!. Terrence *****, Robert Holmes, Terry Nation, Douglas Adams, Malcolm Hulke, Mervyn Haisman and Henrly Lincoln to name but a few!. I reckon Steven Moffat is right up their with the best of them though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
