I only watch the US version of the Office and I love it!. My favorite show!.
You can't do a direct comparison of what is funny between different cultures because each culture has different guidelines as to what they consider funny!. I often hear British people say their comedy is 'smarter' or 'better' because it's very dry and more subtle!. That doesn't make it better, that's just the British style of humor!. In America, we tend to like more feel-good, physical, over-the-top humor!. It's just the comedic style here!. Neither style is better or worse, they're just different!.
I personally feel depressed watcing a lot of British humor (Extras, for example) because it doesn't have that happy, 'feel-good' aura like you might find in the US version of The Office, for example!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love the Office, Whose Line is it Anyway!? and Trigger Happy TV!. They are hilarious, but I think the American versions are funnier, just bc I don't entirely "get" British culture!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
