Ghost whisperer: can anyone tell me what happened this season?!

it comes on at the same time as one of my other shows that i dvr and since i'm taping smthg!. the hubby wants to watch his shows!. i need a whole summmmary of the show!. not episode by episode of course but what the theme of the show was!. know the premise but all of the shows tend to connect to a big finale!. i've seen some questions posted so i have some questions!. like didn't melinda's mom die and last season there was a finale in which melinda was trying to save some kids at some festival and was struck by lightening and it was revealed that the shadow was her counterpart that took souls to hell or wouldn't let them crossover or smthg like that,but he was supposed to be her brother!. i haven't really seen it since her friend was killed in that plane crash and i've only seen a few shows from last season,so please help me fill in the blanks and is there a safe place to view the last 2 seasons,like at the show's official site!. thanks in advance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
