Question: Who else is sick of hearing the American Idol excuses/pity!?
It is really bothering me that Archuleta fans keep bringing up the reason Archuleta should win over Cook is because he has been through more and deserves it more due to the vocal paralysis!. What the hell are you talking about!? Just because Archuleta and his family decide to place that on American Idol airway so that fans may pity him and feel the need to vote for him on that basis is complete garbage!.
Cook has been through a tremendous and heartbreaking real life problems, as is EVERYONE in the competition I am sure!. Some decide to air them (via Archuleta) where Cook and his brother's brain cancer and family crisis is another real life problem!. Cook, however, didn't want American Idol whatsoever to air anything about it because he doesn't want the pity!. He wants to compete fairly!.
Its about talent!. Its about perseverance, and its about stage presence!. Charisma, style, the ability to sing anything (or the phonebook as Randy says haha)!. THEY BOTH DESERVE IT!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

What also annoys me is when David Archuleta fans assume that just because you don't particularly like David Archuleta's style or that if you are David Cook fan, you must hate David Archuleta!. & now I keep hearing rumors that the producers favor David Cook!. I think it's hilarious yet pathetic at the same time watching these 12-year olds try their best to think of an excuse that they could use if David Cook does end up winning!.

Archie should win because he is the better vocalist and singer of the two!.
It is also okay if AI riggs Cook to win because he is the more marketable one with good stage presence and he is a born performer!.

I am so tired of American Idol!. i don't even watch this show and I kind of know what you are talking about!. I don't think any of them are that talented as it is, but yeah it should be about talent not tragedy in the family!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree!. I think they both deserve to be where they are and not because of Archie's vocal paralysis or Cook's brother, but because they're both talented, which is what the show is about!. They don't try to use pity to get votes, so it's not fair that their fans do!. And all of the bashing between their fanbases is really unneeded too!. It's obvious that they're both friends and both of them are AMAZING!. And whoever wins, he will because he's talented, not because of personal tragedy, or whatever!. But when one of them does win, I hope his win won't be discredited because of pity because he will deserve it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
