Question: Why didn't Cook fans like I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing!?
I've watched it on youtube, watched it when it aired, and am currently listening to it on Itunes!.
I just LOVED The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing!.
But lately I've heard some people say his last week preformances were just mediocre!. I thought it was amazing, as did Paula and Simon!. Maybe its just me, but I love everything that comes out of his mouth!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It was beautiful! I downloaded it on my iPod, as I have with all his other performances since the beginning of the top 24!. I thought First Time Ever I Saw Your Face was vocally amazing, but it wasn't my style of music so I wasn't too crazy about it!. His range is incredible, though, & he showed it through that performance!. I know a lot of people thought it was mediocre, but I loved Dare You to Move!. I know Switchfoot fairly well, & although Dare You to Move isn't one of my favorite songs from them, David Cook made me adore it!.
I agree!. EVERY SINGLE SONG he sings is amazing!. It's just that sometimes he is such a great performer & singer that when he doesn't have incredible performances, people see them as just "average" performances!. All his performances are great, but David Cook is an amazing musician, so you end up having really high expectations for all his performances!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I wouldn't say it was mediocre coz whatever song he sings it is still the same wonderful voice that comes out!. People's ideas can still be affected with the song chosen by the contestants!. It might not be really david cook's performance that they don't like, it must be the songs that they hate!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
If you are gonna sing a Aerosmith song like that one, you really have to knock our socks off to really compare!. I like Cook, his rendition of Billie Jean and Music of the Night was very impressive!. I just think his versions of the last few songs he sang was originial enough as "Billie Jean" or "Hello"Www@Enter-QA@Com
I liked it but I have had a couple of people say the tempo was too fast and they thought he would sing it kind of more "sexy", whatever that is supposed to mean

because he was of pitched, and he screamed it as always and nearly broke my eardrums, plus he butchered the song!.
