Question: Why do people laugh on Judge Judy!?
I am watching Judge Judy on my tivo right now, and I have always wondered this!. There is a woman accusing a guy of all kinds of bad stuff, and he is just laughing!. That seems to happen a lot!. If I were being accused of something, especially in a courtroom, I would not be laughing, I would be ANGRY!.
I think that when these people laugh, they are just covering up, and they might as well just say "I did it"!.

You are not strange!. As a matter of fact you are absolutely correct!. These ppl are on national television being accused of some "ammoral" behavior in the words of Judge Judy and they are just laughing and smacking their lips and rolling their eyes!. I would NEVER laugh in court if being accused of those behaviors much less Judge Judy's courtroom!. She is so blunt!. I am mostly shocked at the astounding amount of ppl willing to let the nation see them at the height of their ignorance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Because these people don't understand legal things so they go on Judge Judy!. J/K I love her but lets not kid ourselves she attracts a clientele of people that aren't exactly up there by normal people standards!. I would be very angry and I'd probably start crying to be honest!. I don't handle confrontation well!. I lost most of my respect for her cases when they had that lady on that was suing the parents of a girl that died in a car crash in a car that the son took from his mom!. And she sued them for her sons medical bills!. OMG! It just went downhill from there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Some people get nervous being on TV!. So they laugh!. It's not that it's funny!. It's just a nerves!.
I was asked to be on Judge Judy!. They called me!. I was the plaintiff!. I won my case!. When the defendant loses; the show pays, not the person being sued!. They also pay an appearance fee to each of the parties!. Money can be a strong influence for appearing on TV!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
