I think that after the response from teenagers for Archuleta, some channel should create an American Idol for teenagers!. Most teenagers singers are selected by channels or record companies such as Hanna Montana, Jonas Brothers, etc!. There should be a show where teenagers can choose their idol!. There was actually teenage American Idol called "American Juniors"!. Contrary to what the other answerers said about it, the show was actually quite successful!. There were approximately 11!.9 million viewers per episode in early June 2003 (the only season) making it one of the most watched TV show that Summer!. The Producers had planned a second season which was supposed to follow right after American Idol Season 3 but they ultimately dropped it with no real explanation why!.
Probably the biggest reason that the show was discontinued was that there wasn't a market for the winners afterwards!. The winners (it was a full group rather than one person) released 2 CDs that bombed (and only one successful single), so the Producers probably realized that there wasn't any point in continuing the show if they weren't going to make any money off the winners afterwards!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Contestants on the real American Idol can audition as young as 16, but then you get losers like David Archuleta who only get through because little 13 year old girls go crazy over him

There was one, but I can't recall the name of it!. It bombed so badly they didn't even finish out the season or announce a winner!. As I recall, the AI producers may have put it together!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
