Of course, he's a great singer and performer, but is he really as good as every says he is!?
Especially judging off the last two weeks, the songs have sounded the same!. I don't know why, but he's not sticking out, and he never really has for me!. His vocals aren't the best this season!.
Watch, in nearly every performance, he ends on the same note, and its getting really boring!.

Don't feel bad for stating your opinion!. I happen to agree with you!. His lower register is not very good at all!. He's the weakest vocalist left!. It should be Syesha vs!. Archuleta finale based on vocals, but the judges have it out for that girl! I'm not a big fan of any of them, but Archuleta should win because he is the best singer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

And it is only opinions that are voting!. David Cook's voice is strained at this point!. And with all the rehearsals and performance before the live show hurt a talented rockers voice!. At least David Cook has talent!. David Cook will put out a good CD!. David Arch can only sing ballads!. And what happened to his already winning Star Search!? David Cook's completely re-arranged rendition of Mariah's "Always Be My Baby" was so effin awesome! I got chills (and that never happens to me watching American Idol)

You're not offending me at all!. When he sang "Don't want to miss a thing" tonight it made me realize just how talented Steven Tyler really is!. He sounded very flat tonight with all of the songs actually---the guy is not a singer!. Notice how nobody has ever told him that he can "sing the phone book"!? That's cause he can't---he is limited!. He is a Daughtry impersonator, and even though he will win the entire competition, he won't do well beyond his first album sales and will be dropped just like Hicks and the others that were dropped!. He "rocked the house"!?!?!?!? I am getting really sick of that----people obviously don't have the first damn clue of what rocking the house actually means!. Out of all the lame contestants this year, I guess many pegged him as least lame!. What a ringing endorsement!.

I do think David Cook sings a lot of the same songs!. BUT, there is a major difference between the problem I have with David Cook & David Archuleta!. David Cook, while he sings a lot of rock (excluding Music of the Night, Always Be My Baby, Little Sparrow) has a different arrangement & tempo every week!. He may sing songs from a particular genre but they have different choruses & are in a different key!. David Archuleta, to me, sings the same types of songs (excluding Shop Around) in the same minor scale & tempo, & sounds exactly the same doing it!. In other words, while David Cook is able to stay true to his roots yet have unique performances, David Archuleta, while an amazing singer, actually is in the same key & sounds the SAME singing all of them!.
Sorry for picking on little David if you were a fan, but it was a good way to help my justification of David Cook!. I definitely don't hate David Archuleta, I just think he's a little overrated!.
David Cook is an amazing performer & musician!. I LOVE his voice, because that husky vibe is so beautiful & fitting for what he sings! & his range makes me jaw drop, only Syesha can reach a range that high (Brooke, David Archuleta, & Jason do not have a 3-octave range, while David Cook does)!. He is original & he takes songs that I would never listen to & brings them onto my "Top 25 Most Played" playlist on my iPod!. He's just the complete package, & that's the only way I can describe him through my ears & eyes!.
Hopefully I didn't offend anyone, because some fans tend to be overly-sensitive nowadays!. I will be bracing for the thumbs-down!. I play several instruments & sing as well, & I understand that that doesn't make me an expert in the least!. But please rest assured that I do know what I'm talking about in terms of octave & major & minor scales!

I was totally amazed when I heard David Cook sing Billy Jean and also Little Sparrow!. He really has a unique style, I think, and if I had to be driving down the highway, I would choose to listen to Cook's style!.

I just think that the way he tends to scream/screech at the end of a song isn't really singing!. Most of his singing tonight just sounded off pitch to me!. He didnt' do all that well, and for Simon to say he won the night was kind of ridiculous!. I think that's just because Simon is the one who picked a song for him to sing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
