I was an avid fan, until the fourth season!. Then I stopped watching, because it all became incredibly BAD for me!. And I saw one episode of the 5th season, and was pretty flabbergasted!.

McNamara and Troy moved to LA and got roles on this show called hearts and scaupels, where MacNumera became the breakout star!. Then Julia turns out to be a lesbian and is with this woman named olivia, but still ends up having an affair with Christian!. But not to be outdone by Sean who ends up sleeping with Julia's girlfriend's daughter who is this sex crazed psycho named eden, and ends up shooting julia in the head when she finally finds out how crazy eden is, and she loses her memory!.
also matt and kimber get married and have a baby, but they still end up being crack heads!. kimber leaves him and goes back to porn, and matt ends up having these wierd love affairs, including one with his long lost sister!. they didn't know that they were related until later!.
Sean gets signed by woman that he thought was a manager, but is really this crazy old lady, and she ends up having this wierd obsession with him, and kills another manager that wants to take him away from her!. by the end of the last episode, christian and sean's daughter get in a car accident, and the crazy old lady, stabs sean in the back and it looks like he's bleeding to death!.
there are more little plots within all of this but i hope what i gave you makes sense!.

well the season is over, and towards the end it got "good" again!. Here is an update of where each main character left off:
Sean - lying bleeding on the operating floor after been stabbed by his crazy ex talent agent!.
Christian - fuckep up as always, his relationship with Julie went down hill quick!. he had just been in an accident with annie!. he also accidentally killed gina!. he had sex with her on the ledge of a building and she fell to her dead!.
Julia - she is a lesbian now and her know step daugther shot her in the head!. of-course she survived (i was hoping she didn't) to only not remember anything!.
Matt - kimber left him and toke the baby, he is now having sex with his half sister (christian's daughter)
Kimber - got off of drugs, left matt and toke the baby!. she is back in porn!.
Olivia - she is Julia's gf, and Eden told her what she did to Julia!. Olivia said she would help her daughter stay out of jail!.
