Question: What Lyrics did David Archuletta change in last weeks performance!?
I was just reading something about his father being banned from the American Idol arrangement sessions and being backstage due to an insistance on switching some lyrics in "Stand By Me" to unapproved lyrics from "Beautiful Girls"!. I guess I didn't notice it in the performance, so what lyrics were changed and to what!? Apparently it cost the show alot of money!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think he actually added a bridge to the song, and he left out the end verse that goes something like, "If the sky that we look upon should tumble and fall, and the mountains should crumble into the sea!.!.!. I won't cry, I won't cry!.!.!. no I won't shed a tear, just as long as you stand!.!.!. stand by me!."

Instead of finishing the song that way, he added a whole portion of that other song, "Beautiful Girls" singing something like, "all you beautiful girls!.!.!."
