The player chosen as Sole Survivor receives a cash prize of $1,000,000 (prior to taxes)!.[6] The Sole Survivor also receives a car provided by the show's sponsor, except in Survivor: Cook Islands!. I know that the runner-up(s) receive something, like 100 grand or so, and I'm pretty sure the jury members get a couple of thousand, probably by the rank of being voted out!. And, they probably all receive some money for participating, like how Top Model contestants get a $1000 for being on the show!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
it used to be!.!.the winner would get the million and the runner up would get 50k!.!.!.i believe its still the same!.!.!.the reason i know this is season two!.!.tina and colby talked about it at some point!.!.i also think they do get money for just being on survivor!.!.!.just like big brother contestants get money for just being in the house each week!.!.and the thing is they should!.!.because without them there would be no tv show and the network makes a crap load off the advertisersWww@Enter-QA@Com
When Survivor started, I thought I'd read somewhere that the contestants got paid according to how long they stayed on!. Like, the first person out would get a lot less than the tenth one to go!.

Amanda did not recieve anything, nor did she deserve it!. Although James did win the Sprint Survivor Fan Favorite, he also won this last year!. The Prize totals $100,000!.

One of the things that they dont tell you is that every contestant is actually paid equally besides the winner of the competition!. It's not a lot, but it's enough to stay on the show!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
