I don't know if I'd really say abusive, but maybe a bit obsessive!. He kind of sounds like the stage parents on that show I Know My Kid's A Star that just ended (I'm so glad McKenzie won!. I loved Cheyenne, but her mom is crazy)!. He seems so determined to make David a star, maybe because he lost his chance at stardom himself and wants to live his dream vicariously through his son (which is what most stage parents really want), that maybe he pushes a little too hard!. I mean, first Star Search and now Idol!. So it is a little sad if David's just living out his dad's lost dream!. But if this is David's dream and he really wants to be a star, then maybe he needs tough love to stay motivated, focused and driven!. Maybe his dad gave up a dream and regrets it, so he's determined to keep his son from giving up on his dream!.I guess it all depends on whose dream it really is!. But either way, I feel that both of their dreams will come true next week!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think his dad is giving him a big pressure!. But, I think he is normal!. The thing is, he is shy!. That's why, people thinks that he is having some problems in communicating!. Of course not he's just shy thats who he is!. He's always been shy!. & how is he scared to answer Ryan questions!? I've watched every single performance of Archuleta's fully & I've never seen him look "scared'!. I think your just another David hater hmm!?
