One of the main characters was named Bianca, had long black hair and some sort of pet!. I found a VHS with some episodes at a thrift shop about three years ago!. I loved this cartoon, it was so silly!.
I will disagree with the latter poster about it being Josie & The Pussycats!. First off they all did not have long hair or money!. Second Josie wasnt predominately shown in the 80s, it was more a 60s cartoon based on the Archie comic book characters of the same name and show generally at the same time "The Archies" was!.
I will however agree that the cartoon network short of Josie & the music was pretty cool, and would even recommned if you havent, watching the late 90s movie version if you like some camp!.

I don't think all of them had long hair,but some did and the bad girl had black hair,was named Alexandra and had a cat named Sebastian!.
Cartoon Network even had a commercial of them,(it might still air once and a while) where they transform from the original music to Disco,to Punk,to Metal,to Country and to Techno music!. Pretty cool commercial,I liked the Metal the best!Www@Enter-QA@Com
