Question: Tonight's doctor who, a disappointment!?
i was really looking forward to doctor who, did anyone else find the whole "the doctor's daughter" thing a bit of a let downWww@Enter-QA@Com

I tend to think the main reason it was a disappointment was due to people setting their expectations too high (I admit to this myself)!. That probably comes from spending too much time speculating about it and reading other people's speculations on the Internet, rather than any failings of the episode itself!.
Yes, it did seem a bit rushed, but overall it was a solid slice of Doctor Who which included some interesting concepts, had some fascinating insights into the Doctor's character and how it was shaped by the Time war, and introduced a new daughter for the Doctor (nothing to do with his original family, but a daughter nonetheless)!.
The main problem with "The Doctor's Daughter" was the same as that with "School Reunion" in series 2!. The main story line suffered a bit from trying to pack too much into a single episode and introducing a very important guest character!. I tend to think "The Doctor's Daughter" would have been much better as a two part story, but as it was I thought it was a significant improvement on last years episode by the same writer - "The Lazarus Experiment"!.

I didn't recognise the name of the writer for this one and have found that if that is the case the story is usually one of the weaker episodes!. This one was the story was rushed and lacked body, it was ok could have been better!.

I thought the episode was OK but it could of been better i thought The Hath looks abit wired!. But there was so many different theories about how The Doctor had a daughter so it was nice to find out who she was!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
