Why is Brooke taking care of a baby!? I haven't kept up with the 5th season!.

After being the Godmother to Jamie (Nathan and Haley's son), Brooke realized how much she wanted a child of her own!. She was going to adopt, but they decided to give her a trial run with the one she's taking care of (her name is Angie) to see how good she does first!. I think she's doing a wonderful job!.
She's taking care of Angie because she's from a different country and needs medical care!. The parents can not afford to come over here to the US with her so Brooke is kind of like a foster parent while she's here having her operation!.
