Does anyone else prefer shows like A&E's "First 48" over other pop!
Question: Does anyone else prefer shows like A&E's "First 48" over other popular Hollywoodized crime shows!?

I prefer shows like The First 48 to CSI!. Real life police workk can be dramatic enough without plot devices!. Besides, they remind us that the system isn't perfect and the crime isn't always solved in a neat and tidy 42 minutes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I LOVE The First 48!. It's fascinating to see real life crimes happen and then get solved by brilliant hard working people!.
I would much prefer to watch 48 over the scripted crime shows!. It does make me sad when there's an episode about a child or completely innocent person that was murdered, but also very rewarding to see when the case is solved!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like them both for different reasons!. I like the manufactured drama of Hollywood crime shows; however, I really enjoy seeing how cops *really* work!.
It's not always about finding forensic evidence; it's usually just persistent grunt work!.
My brother's an attorney, and he says there's a "CSI effect" happening in criminal cases, where juries are expecting specific forensic evidence in cases where none exists!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like this type of venue for criminal justice programs!. It seems more life like! This side or behind the scenes of search and interrogation is very fascinating!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
