ok!.!.!.so I don't watch tv!.!.!.don't have cable!.!.!.but I watch some stuff on you tube etc!.!.!.
when I "heard" of the hills!.!.!.I thought it was a farming show!.!.or nature show!.!.!.the HILLS!.!.!.I dunno
but then I actually watched it on you tube!.!.and this is what I think its about so far
twenty something girls!.!.!.mostly blonde!.!.!.one brunette!.!.!.they all have yoga bodies but I never see them actually working out or eating regularly or lift weights or bike or anything!.!.!.
they have BMW'S, MERCEDES!.!.!.
live in AMAZING houses in the BEST Locations in L!.A which are RIDICULOUSLY expensive!.!.!.
they have dreams jobs!.!.!.

But basically it follows Lauren Conrad's life!. She was the star of the show that this is a spinoff to 'laguna beach' which followed lauren and her wealthy(and gorjuzz) friends as they went through their senior year in highschool!. Lauren instatnly became a fan favourite and after appearing on the 2nd season a bit, she was given her own show, which brings us to 'the hills'!.
Basically Lauren still lives the fab life!. She has ALOT of money, she reportedly makes 500!.000,000 for every appearance she makes and she also gets around 50,000 for every episode of the hills, plus, her parents are millionaires and own a beautiful mansion back in Laguna Beach!. Lauren friend Lo who is on the hills as a supporting 'cast member' was actually also on 'laguna beach' as a main character!. She is also very very wealthy
Audrina(the brunette) isint as rich as the other two but has made alot of money off of appearing on MTV and Heidi(the stupid blonde) comes from your everyday upper middle class family!.

well it kinda is lame, the way you put it but its a really good show! Its like all about drama, like most 'reality' shows are but its like showing the lives of these 'perfect' people!. I watch that show, and I am far from an idiot!. People watch it to entertain themselves!. I don't watch it for the reality!. I watch it for ENTERTAINMENT!. When it's late at night, home from work, I like to have a good laugh!.

Actually, I love this show!. That doesn't make me an idiot!. Are you people saying that you don't watch any show that's scripted period!?!? 'Cause that would really narrow down your options!. Yes, they are rich, sorry that people obviously envy that!. Ya know, most people in LA and places like that are rich!. It is possible that people live in nice houses, have good jobs, drive nice cars, and have the money to spoil themselves!. They came from wealthy families, a paradise city, and Lauren went to college!. Not to mention, she's been doing this since the very first Laguna Beach, and she's not doing it for free!. So yes, I'd say she's a rich woman, just like almost every other person on tv!. She's a celebrity now, of course she's living glamorous, you would be too!. And now, it's not a show I watch cause I'm envious, I've just been watching since Laguna Beach and I like it, and it's addicting, what's wrong with that!. Same reason, anybody watches anything, because they like it!. I think The Hills gets criticized more than any other show on television, the way I see it is, if you don't like, just don't watch it!. Most people that "hate" it talk about it more than people who do like it!. Everyone seems to be awfully worried about something they "care nothing about!." Yes, it's scripted!. Most television is!. The story line is based on real facts though!. That IS their real cars, jobs, and homes!. Heidi & Spencer really did get engaged, then split up, Lauren really does hate Heidi, Audrina & Justin Bobby really did go through everything they went through on the show, Spencer & Brody really did stop being friends, Spencer really does hate Lauren!. BUT they're are some planned scenes, and some parts of it are scripted, for the sake of entertainment!. I don't think anyone at all would watch it if it just showed Lauren sitting in front of the tv painting her nails for 30 minutes!?!? Even though that's her "real life" If it's not exciting, people aren't gonna watch it!. Parental Control, Soap Opera's, Sitcoms, the X effect!.!.!.!. they're all scripted in some sort of way!. I don't like American Idol, but I don't think it's stupid and criticize people for watching it just because I can't get into it!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
