Question: Avoiding the themed genre, AI judging question!.!.!?
Alright!. Before I am torn to shreds please just hear me out!.
This season I have been an avid AI watcher and admirer, and I really loved Michael Johns until he got the boot!. Then it was David Cook all the way!.
Now last night REALLY disappointed me!. It was ROCK week(I know it was hall of fame) which in my opinion I was thinking I was going to see some rock songs and new sides of Archie, Syesha, and Castro!.
David Cook, who is labeled rocker, switched his style up entirely for Mariah Carey Week, Neil Diamond, and best of all - BROADWAY - week!. It was amazing!. Showed versatility!.
This week sucked!. Archie sang his usual niche of slow love song ballads, Castro was all mellow yellow, and Syesha trying to sound like Whitney!.
As a judge, why haven't they said anything about this!? Why hasn't Archuleta, NOT ONCE, changed his style!. I know ballads are his niche, but its so one-dimensial!. Judging rather make fun of an outfit than address any of this!.

David Cook is the only one who is not one dimensional!. He has range!. The other ones are Cruise show, Mousekateer, cabaret singers

I thought it was actually going to be Rock sounding, but they were all mellow songs!. I didn't get it!. But Jason's horrible, and I think Syesha was trying too hard to impress!. Of course David Cook was ok, and David Archuleta was amazing! Randy did say he could sing anything, so I would really like him to sing some fast paced song!. It's true, he's always singing slow songs, but he's still my favorite!. Sorry :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
I really can't comment any more than what you said cuz I agree with you 100%!. I was so disappointed with the music last night and Jason was a joke really!. I think some of the other stuff on here may be right - that he is trying to get himself kicked off!. For someone who supposedly wants to win this thing he seemed to find the negative comment from the judges rather funny!. An odd reaction for someone who wants to win I thought!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Let's face the fact, everyone at American idol is trying to manipulate viewers into voting for David A!. He will win even though he doesn't deserve to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The judges try to persuade the audience to vote for the Davids!. It's really not fair; they criticize Jason week after week yet he is still there!. That's got to say something!. America loves Jason Castro!. He isn't a "horrible" singer, and the people that think he is aren't into the music that he sings!. Has anyone actually listened to Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan!? THE SONG IS SUPPOSED TO BE SUNG LIKE THAT!. And so what if he forgot the words!? David A!. and Brooke messed up in previous shows and the judges gave them a break!. Did anyone see how mad Simon and Randy got when the girls in the audience yelled for Jason!? The judges haven't liked Jason to begin with; it's no wonder he's not "trying"!. They have killed his confidence!. His song choices from last night were perfect for what he's good at!. Syesha reminds me of Fantasia, Cook reminds me of Daughtry, and Archuletta has a good voice but he irks me!. Jason is unique and we need more artists like him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
