Matt Stone was raised in Littleton, Colorado, a suburb of Denver!. Many people believe this place to be the inspiration for South Park!. However, the town of South Park is based on the mountain town of Fairplay, Colorado!. Everyone I know who's from there as well as anywhere nearby says that 'South Park' is only a mild exaggeration of the truth!. Obviously fantastical sightings and events such as Scuzzlebutt and time-traveling immigration are made up, but the general way of life is no different!. The people there really are that wacky!. Oh, and Casa Bonita!? Real place, same name!. Not as much fun!.
