Kristi and Mark danced the Quickstep and the Samba!. The judges loved the quickstep and gave her a 29; they thought the Samba was a technically packed routine but it took away from the performance and feeling of the dance!. She got a 26 for this dance!.
Mario and Karina danced the Viennese Waltz and the Jive!. His Waltz was the best I've ever seen him do in the ballroom round and the judges gave him a 27!. They were split on the Jive - Bruno and Carrie Ann liked it while Len didn't!. He got a 26 for it!.
Marissa and Tony danced the Foxtrot and the Mambo!. The judges thought the Foxtrot was engaging but Bruno said not good enough for the quarterfinals!. They got a 25!. Her Mambo was good but Len said not raunchy enough!. They got a 25 for this dance too!.
Jason and Edyta danced the Tango and the Samba!. The judges loved the Tango, saying it was fantastic and giving him a 29 out of 30!. He also suffered during his Samba!. The judges said it wasn't good enough, and Bruno went as far as to say it was a turkey of a performance!. They got a 23 for it!.
Cristian and Cheryl were on fire last night!. They danced the Tango and the Mambo!. He took a sarcastic look at his situation with his injured arm as they performed the Tango to "Beat It" wearing a single white glove on his good arm!. His Mambo as fabulous, the judges said it was full of energy and great!. He got a 29 for it, and ended up in first place for the night!.

They all appreciated the fact that she threw in so many technical steps that the other celebrities would never try, but in making it so hard she lost some of the feeling of the Samba!. I can't add too much to the answer above! It was great! But my input is that they were a little too strict on the leaders last night!. Don't get me wrong, I thought Kristi's 2nd danced lacked a bit, but I think not enough for the scores to be so low!. And they seemed totally off on Jason's 2nd danced!. I thought it was hot! Granted, Jason is hot, but he danced better then they said!. A lot better!.
