I think you don't have to like him, but you shouldn't pose questions based on really bad ideas!.
And I can list a MILLION reasons why Cook remains on the show within his right!. Why he DESERVES to win!.
-Being the most successful on iTunes purchases
-Being regarded by the judges as the best by far
-Having what's now predicted to be the largest fan base
-Having the most consistently positive feedback
-Being the ONLY contestant to "change things up" while staying true to their own tune, and making original hits out of classics like "Hello"!. Everyone else has failed at this!.
-Being mind-blowingly hot and a genuine and warm-hearted person who's made a clear and definite effort each week!.
-Not saying stupid things like "I sang that for the homeless people", but making an actual effort to do their singing for a good cause ("give back", the lindsey rose bracelet)!. I give Syesha credit for being the only other contestant who has a history of this!.

I think he is still there for the purpose of a david and david show down for the finale!. show hype you know! and archuleta sure win as he is the most consistent week after week!.
