They split the seasons up, 7 episodes at a time and have been doing that since season 8 I believe!. The rest of season 12 will continue in October!. But no, SP was not in any way affected by the writer's strike!. The creators of the show are also the writers (along with a few other writers that help come up with ideas and such) but no, they were not part of the strike and SP was not and is not affected by it!.!.!. lol it is a very shitty wait though, like 5 monthsWww@Enter-QA@Com
The break isn't due to the writers strike!. The break is their typical mid-season break!. If you have watched each of the first seven episodes, there is one about the writers strike, so all of the new episodes were produced after it!. Rumor has it the next new episode wont be until the fall season around October!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
