The man in the preview is Horace Goodspeed (Doug Hutchison) who was a mathematician for Dharma!. Both he and his wife Olivia were present when Ben was born in Oregon!. Horace would later find a job for Ben's father on the island and be killed in the Purge!. The fate of Olivia remains unknown!.
