I personally love the Waltons!. It's always been one of my favorites! I don't see why it wouldn't work - it was set in the 1930s and 40s but was on in the 70s and it worked then!. I think you can really draw parallels between that time and any time in history, including the present, if you want to!. For instance, a lot of the later episodes dealt with World War II and its effect on the family - something that applies very much to life today!. Plus, it's relatively historically accurate, so if for nothing else you can watch it to learn something!. I personally enjoy it for its wholesome family values that aren't portrayed in the media nearly enough these days, but anyway you look at it, The Waltons is a timeless classic!Www@Enter-QA@Com
