Question: Anyone out there watching Flood, UK TV!?
It's on but i think they lost me after the first two minutes, looks just like every American disaster movie ever made!. The music is so intrusive i suppose they assume that we can't do without it to build tension!. What a waste of good acting talent!. Robert Carlyle one of the better actors around along with David Suchet, Tom Courtney, and Nigel Planer looks like he should be auditioning for The Young Ones, i'm sorry but this sort of programme just turns me into a zombie!. It's just so predictable, they could have turned this into something so spectacular, and what do they do, follow the American lead and have story lines so leaden than i think i have drowned in the Flood!.

It was released as a film first teddy, they converted it into a tv drama!. Thank god you agree!!! I wasted money renting this out on dvd a few weeks back!. It really is one of the worst things ive ever seen!.!. i couldnt believe it when i saw it was gonna be on tv and tv guides rated it really highly!

I did enjoy it because of the fabulous cast and I love domesday/disaster stuff,but I do agree that it was a little predictable and derivative-enjoyable nonetheless!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Watched i on DVD ages ago when it was released after reading the book!. Unfortunatley lost a lot in translation to the screen (just about 50% at least thinking about it!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com
