On grey's anatomy who is the old intern?!

Hey there, so I am wondering, on Grey's Anatomy, who is the old intern, if you don't know who I'm talking about, he's in like one episode, where he's with Meredith, and they have to tell somebody who was getting a like mole removed, they tell her that she is dying, and but she isn't, so they have to like find her!.
