David Archuleta!. Don't get me wrong, they are both talented, but David Archuleta is more my style!. The purity in his voice, along with his vocal range and his emotions in his songs is amazing!. And he deserves it the most considering everything he's been through with his vocal paralysis!. The only think David Cook has over Archie is stage presence, and you don't need that on a CD!. Everyone keeps saying that Archie is only doing well because he's popular, but NEWSFLASH, he's popular because he can sing! I think for Cook's own sake, he shouldn't win Idol because a rocker wouldn't look good with a pop label!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm a David Cook fan!. David Archuletta has been doing the same type of arrangement with every song he does so they all sound the same!. David Cook mixes it up!. I began to not like David Archuletta when I saw on TMZ that there were clips of him previously singing the songs he sang on IDOL in other competitions!. If David Cook is getting sympathy because of his brother, then David A is getting pity because of vocal paralysis (which I hear about all the time)!. But I love both of them and not just because I feel sorry for them ( though I would love to see Cook win for his brother and would be just as happy to see Archie win because it would be really nice to see a kid who was told that he may never sing again to be the next American Idol), but because they're simply the most talented and that's all there is to it!. Both are nice guys, David Cook is NOT cocky & David Archuleta's personality is NOT fake!. People like you shouldn't need to stoop as low as making up such horrible rumors, because all you're doing is making little David look bad!.
Since hearing him sing "Happy Together", David Cook had me hooked!. He hasn't done anything but improve over the weeks, & never ceases to surprise me during his performances!. Every time I try to predict what he will sing, he comes in with something totally different - yet still blows me away!. His vocal range is incredible, & I have yet to hear another musician sing an 'E' in the third octave during a live performance as David Cook did during "Music of the Night', & with perfect pitch at that! His voice is so powerful & has that husky vibe that I absolutely adore!. Unlike past winners, I know he will not be a one-hit wonder, because he is a genuine rocker!. He performs so well & is able to keep himself calm & hide his nervousness, a skill that many people view as ignorance when he is actually being professional!. He is consistent & remains true to his roots, but is able to sound different every week! Lastly, he's a really good person!. His heart of gold just adds to his talent, though!. He just surpasses everyone else in this competition for me, even though I like Syesha & David Archuleta also!. No one comes close to Cook for me!. David Archuleta is cute & a really nice guy, but personally, all he has is a nice voice!.
