Does anyone honestly think David Archuleta will do well in the music industry?!
Question: Does anyone honestly think David Archuleta will do well in the music industry!?
I am not saying he is a bad singer, because he's good!.
I am not saying that he is a bad person, because he's friendly!.
What I really want to know is, does anyone HONESTLY think he will be successful!? I agree he'd sound great in a Disney theater or performing with the Jonas Brothers, but come on! David Archuleta a better candidate to win American Idol than David Cook or Syesha Mercado!?
PS: I'm not hating on the little guy because he's super adorable but I think he will do terrible if he released his own album!. The whole CD will probably be the same ballads over and over (at least David Cook's CD will be all rock but the songs will actually be UNIQUE and he won't sing them the same way)!. And not to be mean, but he cannot perform!. Well he's better than Jason who just sits in a chair but you know what I mean!.

I like David Archuleta lot, but I don't love him!. David Cook is the one I love!.
David Archuleta has a good range (two octaves), but David Cook has three octaves!. & I agree with you about the part that David Cook sings a lot of rock just as David Archuleta sings ballads!. But there is a difference between singing the same songs & sounding the same!. While David Cook does tend to sing rock MOST of the time (excluding Little Sparrow, Music of the Night, Always Be My Baby), he is also able to sound different during each performance!. I'm not saying David Archuleta ONLY sings ballads, because I know he has sung songs like Shop Around, but the problem is that he tends to sound the same as well!.
Little David is a REALLY cute & sweet guy, don't get me wrong!. But he's just not my type, & I really can't imagine him winning this competition & releasing a successful album!. I can envision him on Broadway or singing for a Disney musical (not that I'm saying that as an insult, I'm being dead serious) & he can definitely sing most cover songs, but when it comes to original music, he probably will not do too well in the industry!. also, his voice just comes out as a bit nasally!. His voice is really nice considering he is 17-years old, but he is still young & if he had time to mature a little more & get to know the music industry, he'd make a fit winner!. At this point though, David Cook, in my opinion, surpasses him in virtually all the fields of becoming the American Idol!.

i personally think that david archuleta will do great in the music industry!. he certainly has the voice and the looks to be successful in this industry!. but i think that david cook will be more successful than him!. basing it on the popularity of songs on itunes, david cook consistently is the number 1 (except for the time when david archuleta sang imagine), and considering that people are now more interested in listening to the poprock/alternative genre, david cook will just be like chris daughtry!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think your problem is that your a David Cook fan right!? So your just trying to find people that agree with you obviously to say "yeah Cook is so much better blah blah blah!.

he is exactly what an america idol is!.!.!.a person that can actually sing any type of song!.!.!.yes he is just as good to do this as Carrie underwood and any of the others!.!.!. All along, I have been saying David A, is not ready for a career in music!. he could do a CD and make millions because the young girls would go crazy over it!. I am not a fan of his performances!. You're so right about the "Disney Theater" thing!. It would be perfect for him!. I really hope to see David Cook win!. His performances have only gotten better each week!. The same can be said for Syesha!. I think she could be the next Jennifer Hudson!. That girl has talent galore!. Poor Jason seems to have given up!. Good question, I asked myself that before too!. He has a great voice but I'm not sure how good he would do at writing his own songs!. No offense but Cook has a voice like every other rock singer out there, but he'd probably be great at writing songs!. Please don't compare David A to the Jonas Brothers!!! They have completely different styles- the only thing they have in common is the annoying teeny-bopper fans who obsess over them endlessly!. I think Archuleta needs to grow more and learn to perform, I'm not sure how good his album would do, I guess we have to wait and see!. If he wins Idol then he gets an album full of songs people wrote for the winner, which guarantees they won't all be ballads, but if he looses then he'll still get a contract but he'll probably write an album full of ballads lol!. Since Idol is a talent competition, I'm going for David A because he has an amazing voice!. But I think i'd probably like Cooks music better because I prefer rock!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i think he will do amazing!. hes a prodigy & will probably be a legend!. his voice is somthing so special and he has such a feel for music!. almost like he has a sixth sense!. lol!. hes such a modest person too! thats why i really like him!. he sings becuase he loves it, and he wants to inspire people!. i love his ballads & his upbeat songs!. go daivd archie! im voting for you<3
