Victoria wakes up with Reed in her arms on the day of Reed's christening!. Meanwhile, J!.T!. is picking up breakfast at the club and runs into Adam!. He invites Adam to the christening, unaware of the fight that occurred the prior evening between him and Victoria!. Adam says he is too busy!.
Victor makes sure Sabrina will be at the christening with him!.
Lily becomes concerned that she was the cause for Karen moving out but Neil assures her that everything will work out for them if it is meant to be!. Later, Cane arrives to take Lily to the doctor and Neil and Cane have a heart to heart about becoming a father!.
Sharon and Phyllis put Nick on the spot asking him to side with one of them about the photos they are clashing over!. Nick sides with Phyllis, to Sharon's dismay!.
Before the christening, Nikki gives Victoria her Bible as a gift to always remember how blessed she is!. Later, J!.T!. tells Victoria that he invited Adam to the christening and Victoria tells him that she wishes neither Sabrina nor Adam ever came to Genoa City!.
Adam finds Phyllis in a panic to get to the christening on time and tries to help her out!. Sabrina arrives with mail for Restless Style and she and Adam get into a verbal sparring match about Phyllis and Victor!.
As Cane and Lily leave for the doctor, Neil becomes nostalgic!. At the doctor, Cane and Lily learn more about the baby and prepare for the ultrasound!.
At the Newman Ranch, Sabrina is acting as lady-of-the-house, which bothers Nikki!. Everyone reacts when Victoria comes in to see Sabrina!. Sharon and Noah arrive and realize what they walked in on!. J!.T!. walks Sabrina to leave but Victoria tells Sabrina she can stay!.
Devon assures Neil that everything has worked out the way it was meant to be!.
After looking at the ultrasound, the technician hurries to get doctor!. Later, the doctor tells them that fetus was reabsorbed and she lost the baby!.
Sabrina gives Victoria a thoughtful gift for Reed and Victoria is touched despite herself!. Nikki grows suspicious of all of David's phone calls!. Victor asks J!.T!. if Adam is coming!. Later, everyone enjoys themselves as they talk about family and children!. Reed is christened as everyone that loves him looks on!.
Lily bursts into tears when she arrives home to an expectant Devon and Neil!.

Amber rambles to a waitress about her relationship with Daniel, worried about how he defines their "status!." Amber tries to drop hints to Daniel about her desire for something more from their "friends with benefits" arrangement!. However, Daniel's comments make Amber believe that will never happen!.
At Restless Style, Phyllis and Sharon continue to clash when Sharon wants to pull an article from the layout and Phyllis refuses!.
Neil and Cane try to comfort Lily after the loss of her child!. Lily tries to cover her pain by acting as though the loss doesn't really affect her!. Cane refuses to leave her side, unsure as to how to help her!. Later, as Cane prepares to meet Kay and Jill to tell them about losing the baby, Neil thanks Cane for standing by Lily!.
Nikki praises Victoria for rising above Victor and Sabrina's actions at the christening!. Mother and daughter discuss motherhood and how Victoria could forgive Sabrina and Victor!. Later, Victoria gives Nikki and Nick her opinion on a Restless Style ad for Jabot and they all discuss Adam!.
Adam voices his frustration for Victor about Beauty of Nature, and suggests he move him to mergers and acquisitions and give Victoria back B of N!.
Neil has to go into Newman Enterprises for awhile, and Lily is left alone!. She finds a memento of Dru's!. Later, Karen drops by to pick up some of her belongings and is startled to learn from Lily that she lost the baby!. Meanwhile, Cane tells Kay and Jill that they lost the baby!.
Daniel teases Amber at work ad she finally loses it on him!. Phyllis and Sharon watch on as Amber lets lose all over he emotions on Daniel!. Phyllis learns that they slept together!. Later, Amber vents to an unwilling Phyllis about her feelings for Daniel!.
David meets with a supplier to tell him that Jill nixed the contract!. David assures him that for a "finders fee" he will find a way to make the deal work!.
Nikki and Nick make comments to Victoria about her work at Newman Enterprises, and Victoria says she has been thinking about working for Jabot!. Meanwhile, Adam drops a christening gift off for Reed, unnoticed by Nikki or Victoria!.
Victor tells Neil that he is increasing Adam's responsibility at Newman and he wants Neil to mentor him!. Victor assures Neil that is has nothing to do with family, but Neil is far from convinced!.
Karen and Jill try to help Lily and Cane through their pain by talking about their own experiences!. Later, Karen runs into Neil as she is leaving the apartment and he takes out his pain and frustration on her!.
Nick overrules Phyllis, and sides with Sharon in regards to the article!. Later, Amber finally confesses to Daniel how she is feeling and he tells her makes her feel better!. Phyllis hopes it is a fling but Nick doesn't think so!.
On her way to meet with Victor, Victoria finds Adam's gift and is touched!. Victor tells Victoria that he is giving her back B of N and giving Adam her job!. Victoria is insulted!.
Nikki confronts David about his behavior at the christening but he covers!. Nikki, however, doesn't buy it and tells him that until she can trust him she isn't going to marry him!.

Adam and Skye are flirtatious as they talk about Newman and why she is in Genoa City!. Skye tries to find out if there are any gambling possibilities in town!. Later, as Adam gets ready to go to work, Skye tries to persuade him to find her a poker game!. Adam doesn't bite!.
Victoria is furious with Victor's decision and lets him know it!.
David is hurt that Nikki doesn't trust him, but Nikki asks him to be patient with her!. Later, David learns that his account is overdrawn and needs money fast!. He bumps into Brad and asks for a spot at the weekly poker game!.
Michael and Lauren are determined to have a good night out at Indigo without mention of Gloria!. Meanwhile, Gloria is excited to see Jeff but lets her insecurities get the better of her and she attacks him the first chance she gets!. Later, as he walks away from her, Jeff cancels a surprise he was planning for Gloria!.
Paul asks J!.T!. for information on David!. Paul tells J!.T!. about David's gambling problem!. J!.T!. promises not to say anything to Nikki about Paul investigating David!.
Brad tries to act like everyone's best friend and favorite employee in front of Jill!. Meanwhile, David blows up at Nikki when he feels like she is interrogating him again!. Jill and Brad witness the entire fight!.
Gloria finds Michael and Lauren at Indigo and tells she tells them that she plans to adopt a child!. Michael refuses to let her!. However, Gloria is adamant and she takes off to meet her lawyer!. Meanwhile, Jeff asks Jack to allow Gloria to move back into the mansion!. Jack refuses!.
Skye pretends to be a "poker-idiot" and Brad is intrigued by this mysterious woman!. He invites her to his weekly poker game!.
Adam stops by to apologize to Victoria about the meeting with Victor earlier!. However, the two end up in yet another fight when Adam brings up a company he wants to acquire that Victoria doesn't agree with!. Later, Adam presents his information to Victor, but Victor tells him to consult Victoria!.
Jeff runs to Jill at the G!.C!.A!.C!. and asks her out to lunch sometime!. Jill wonders about Gloria and Jeff tells her that he is in the process of removing her from his life!. Meanwhile, Michael and Lauren watch Gloria in horror as she consults with her lawyer!. He tells Gloria that the adoption will take a couple of years!.
Jack realizes he is truly happy in his life with Sharon and Noah, in the Abbott mansion!.
Skye tells Adam how she hooked Brad into letting her play in the poker game!. Adam is amused!.
Nikki and Victor have a nice moment until Sabrina interrupts it!.
