American Idol themes?!
Question: American Idol themes!?
Ok, does anyone here think that American Idol is choosing really lame themes this year!? I mean some of the shows have been good, but i hardly know any of the songs the contestants are singing! I want them to go by year, like the 80's or the 90's!. Give the singers more songs to work with! I seriously want them to start singing more recent songs!. Anyone agree with me!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

yeah, I agree!. That's how it used to be!. Instead of "Dolly Parton", it should be "Country", so they could sing Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline,etc!. Instead of "Mariah Carey", it should be Pop, from The Beatles to Britney Spears!. Or they can still have themes like "Love Songs" or "Showtunes", or something, that still give them a broader range and more to choose from!. They could still have mentors,though,but the contestants shouldn't have to sing songs from just that artist, but any song from the mentor's genre!. They used to do it that way!. I am old so I like most of the theme's!. But I think it makes it hard for the idol's because a lot of times they don't know the songs either!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I heard that next week's theme is iTunes Top 100!. If that's true, it will be SO REFRESHING to hear some modern music for once!. I'm only 16 & I'm getting tired of music that I've never even heard of before!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i totally agree!. im 18 and im soo freakin sick of hearing songs that were written 50 years ago! next week is gunna be AWESOME!! finally some modern music!. im like really excited!Www@Enter-QA@Com
