Question: Do you think Martha Stewart is a a great role model for women!?
I think she is!. I mean forget Oprah (like to see her try to master Martha's t-shirt folding technique) I think Martha is our last hope in saving traditional domestic values!. My gf has most of her recipes(Puffy Maine pancakes tomorrow) and follows studiously all her hints and tips!. I think she's an American icon and you guys are very lucky to have her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, Martha Stewart IS divorced, so she must have done something wrong to make her husband want to leave her!.!.!.
I'd say Lucy Ricardo, from 'I Love Lucy' would be a much better role model for women!. Getting up before her husband to make him coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, bacon and eggs (to his liking, of course)!.!.!. I'm sure she'd laid out his fresh clothes for him the night before, after she had washed and pressed them!.!.!. Then on to a day of dusting and deciding what to prepare for his dinner!.
Of course, she did occasionally get into some hi-jinks, but she was just a silly woman, what more would you expect!? Then she'd need to be put back in her place-- her husband would take her allowance away, or some such!.!.!.

I think she is a better role model than Oprah!. Not only does she do it all, domestic goddess, but when she messed up, she stood by her mistake and did her time in prison and came out a better person!. she annoys the heck out of me, but shes a fair better role model than others that kids are idolizing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm not a fan of Martha!. She is just on TV being a housewive (cooking, cleaning, folding, whatever), and I don't beleive that she is at all an inspiration whatsoever!. Rachel Ray is a lot better!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
