Question: Deal or No Deal - brave or dumb!?
When a contestant rejects a big offer from the banker, Noel calls them brave and courageous!. He'll pass on solemn messages from the banker, saying "he respects you"!.
The fool in question usually ends up winning around a fiver!. Not even enough for their busfare back to loserland!. Yet Noel assures them that they "played the game with courage"!.
Is this actually true!? Or were they just greedy fools who thought their 'lucky' numbers (their nan's birthday date, plus house number, and similar crap) have the power to beat the odds!?

welll, interesting question!!! first of all the banker messages are all made up because as you can probably see at the end of the show (at the credits) it says : banker= noel edmonds and anyway is a tv show he cant really say the done it all bad and that they should be ashamed of themselves , but i do believe the that the way they decline offers from the ''banker'' contains bravery!.

I wouldnt say greed is the word,they are the gamblers , Nobody who has not got a lot of money is ever going to win that show and get the top prize ,offered 15/26 thousand if you are struggling, its going to get you out of that chair ,,or if you have the luck to be left with all the top prizes thats different ,All this rubbish do you think you have a red in your box makes me so angry ,Strange thing have you noticed if Noel says lets have the penny now ,it comes out nearly everytime ,They are random boxes and its a gamble ,you only get one chance and I suppose the odd one takes the chanceWww@Enter-QA@Com
The Banker is credited as "Himself" - not Noel Edmionds please note (!) and yes - GREED is the word everyone is using, and I believe everyone is right ! Courage is just a word that sounds good when someone's made a dog's dinner of it ! ! !Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think if they play the game as entertainment & naot as a way to make money & realise that they came with nothing so if they go home with anything, its a bonus!. It would be a pretty short game if they accepted the first big offer, wouldn't it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
