I am seriously on the verge of never watching American Idol again!.
Did I think Carly Smithson would win!? No!.
Did I think she would at least make it to the top 3, and deserve to be!? Heck yes!!
I’m convinced now more than ever that this show has been taken over by pre-pubescent teens, who have clogged the phone lines with Jason Castro votes just cause he’s nice eye-candy for the show!.
I was shell-shocked over the results last night, something definitely smells foul over there, it just doesn’t make sense to me!.
The world isn’t gonna end cause Carly isn’t there anymore, true!. And it sure as hell isn’t going to change my life!. She’ll be fine, and be better off –we all know that!. But it doesn’t make it suck any less that true VOCAL talent has been axed!. David Cook is the only saving grace on that show, period!.

Given Carly's past history of being in the bottom three I was not surprised but I sure was upset! I even cried!. For real!. You have a good attitude and that's what I think I have, too!. She will be fine!. She was SUCH a class act last night!. Of course she wanted to win but she knows she will get a good deal and she has had the exposure she needs now!. I will be waiting to buy her CD!

The entire time I was in shock!. When it came to Syesha and Brooke!. It should have been Brooke in the bottom two!. When it came to Jason and Carly, it should have been Jason in the bottom!. I agree, I knew Carly wouldn't win it, and I def!. think David Cook is in it to win it! Syesha, Brook, and David A should have been voted off way before Carly, I think its sad that America liked Brooke's mess up over Carly's perfect performance!. They need to change the voting process!. Audience 50%, Judges 50%!. I think that would give the better singers the edge!. On the other hand, it's the kids that buy the music, so popularity is important!. There are web sites that urge people to call in and vote for the person that is doing badly!. Brooke is on that site right now!. Kristy before her!. Sanjaya last year!.

I was shocked!. Carly deserved to at least make the top 3!. I base who I like on who I think would put out a better CD!. In my opinion, I would probably enjoy a CD more from Carly then from Jason!. Jason is soooo boring! And if teenage girls are voting based on looks it still confuses me a bit !.I don't even see the attraction with Jason

omg i was sooooooooo shocked! they got the bottom 2 all wrong , it should have been jason( he's adorable, but he really did horribly) and brooke( love her too, but not her best night), and then when they announced syesha and carly i was like what!!!!!! and so then i was like, america, you better get something right 2night and they soooooo got it all wrong! i can't believe she went home! she should have been in the top three with david cook and archuletta!!!!

I myself was not a big Carly fan!. Altho she was good, she was not a favorite of mine!. I do agree however, that America got it wrong this week!. Jason is very weak and altho he may have had a few decent performances in the past, he is not strong enough to have made it this far (top 5)!. I do not find Jason Castro the "eye candy" others say he is!. I don't like the dreadlocks and his eyes, while nice, are not as dreamy either!. I am very surprised he was not gone sooner to be honest!. I figured the top 3 would be the Davids and probably Carly!. Speaking from a talent only point of view, it is sickening to me that Brooke got to stay, with her limited range, and Carly goes home!. There is no reason Carly should have been sent home!. I've always liked Brooke but I think she should have gone home!. She's in the Top 6, there is no reason she should be making mistakes at this point in the competition!. Carly is a winner just by making through to the top 10!. Past top ten contestants that did not "win" have had tremendous success like Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson and past winners have gone nowhere (i!.e!.Taylor Hicks)!. I am certain Carly will do just fine!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
