If Ridge was able to see beyond his nose, he would concentrate on building a serious relationship with Ashley and leave Brooke to fall apart on her own and leave Taylor to make whatever choice she wants!. Except that Phoebe is his daughter, and she was interested in Rick again!. So I would imagine some paternal protective feelings are going to kick in!.
