Why is Jason Castro still on American Idol???!
Question: Why is Jason Castro still on American Idol!?!?!?
Are people tone-deaf or what!? The guy has the weakest (read: least powerful) voice I've seen on any finalist on any season of the show, and he chooses a woman's power ballad to sing!. But apparently it doesn't matter that his performance practically made my ears bleed!. All you need to stay on the show is to be a boy with blue eyes, dimples, and "interesting" hair, and the preteen girls will keep you on till the end!. He wasn't not even the choice on VoteForTheWorst!.com, so that has to be what's keeping him on the show!. I can't think of one good, memorable performance by him!. ("Hallelujah" was not as great as some people seem to think it was!.)

Guys, PLEASE, it's obvious why he never gets voted off the show, TEENAGE GIRLS!. That's it, no other answer, it's plain and simple!. I watch IDOL with my fiancee' every week and we have about had it with the show!.
Everyone since the top 10 is a better vocalist than Jason!. His songs all sound the same!. He has the same presentation, him and his guitar!. He doesn't really have ANY personality, he just says, "uh!.!.yeah," and "uh!.!.!.ok" and TEENAGE GIRLS fall at his feet!. It's really hard to watch!.
I have already told my fiancee' that I will never watch the show again in my life if either of the DAVIDs (Obviously, these guys are 50 times better than Castro) gets voted off before him!.
Girls, LISTEN, you aren't going to be with him, he's not going to go out with you, you'll never meet him in person, GET OVER IT!! Vote for the best SINGER!
It's obviously ONE of the two Davids, it's just a question of what type of music you like!. I personally would vote for David Cook, I like rock, and he's is very creative in changing songs up to fit his style!. He will no doubt sell many CD's!. Watch and see!

Yes, he's still on Idol!.
I personally like his singing!. He doesn't have a power voice like most of the others!.!.but I love his laid back style and softer voice!.!.!.it's very pretty!. I would totally buy an album by him!.
He's not my favorite contestant, but he's probably my third!.

I'm more angry about Brooke staying there after 2 mistakes, then Jason!. At least Jason didn't have a TERRIBLE performance (he's had weak ones, but never a truly horrible one as Brooke did)!. & Jason is unique, Brooke has a good voice but I don't see anything that is all that special about her!.

Because people voted for him!! isn't that why people vote!? If anyone should get kicked the hell out it should be archulleta that little ***** can't sing!. His got the most boring monotone voice to ever hit idol and people liked him for it!. If you think people are tone-deaf about castro then there is seriously something wrong with america!. because atleast castro can sing a decent song in different vocals!. The show has now become the world's biggest joke!. After turning in what has to be the worst performance of all the seasons combined, Jason should have been sent packing!. The only legitimate reason he is still there is due to the fact that a gaggle of pre-teen girls are voting on the auto dialer programs!.
