Question: Y&R: Is anyone else disappointed now that the writers are back!?
I was so excited when I heard that the head writer for Y&R was kicked off the show along with all the other writers she hired!
I couldn't wait for the new writers to take over and "liven up" all the long dragged out boring storylines and put some spark back into the show!
I really thought there was a chance that Y&R could be the great show that it used to be before LML!
Well it's been more than several weeks now and nothing seems to be changing!
Other than this Victor/Sabrina nonsense and Lilly being preggers; it's still the same old boring boing boring storylines that are still dragging on and on and on and on, (kinda like the energizer bunny that keeps going and going and!.!.!.)!
I am sooo disappointed!

amen sistah! it has gotten boring!. i hate almost every sl except for javin's wedding and danber finally admitting how they feel and hooking up!. cane and lily bore me!. her mom made modelling look exciting she makes it look lame!. i dont like this couple and turn the channel when they are on!. i was hoping for so much more when they brought adam on but we get non sense!. he's and ms forester want to break up phick!. what the hell!?!!! gloho even tho i love her had no place being in jack's house and the sl with jeff and alistair is ridiculously played out!. i could careless to see old ppl vying for each other's affections in this way!. they should have never killed john in the 1st place!. and now micheal (i love him) is suing jack in another ridiculous sl!. i dont like david or sabrina they are both gold diggers in my book and they are boring!. i hope i get some trouble aka kevin, amber and daniel scenes today, if not i'll skip it all togetherWww@Enter-QA@Com

I'd have to agree with 'Keli'!. It's going to take, at least, another 2 weeks to get back into "the-swing-of-something-really-new!" I mean, after all, there's Nick and that other woman, Phyllis and Adam, and Adam himself who is still a mystery!. And, should I fail to mention, Kane has some, rather, bad background that has not been fully explored yet,and then there's this thing with Gloria that HAS to be resolved, before other things open up!. Gloria is truly the one that seems to be holding things up!. I would really be shocked to see her "go-away" peacefully, but I don't think so!. The open characters are, if I remember correctly are, David, Kane and Adam and who knows, maybe J!.T!. will turn something up on Sabrina!. Frankly, I agree with Victoria about Sabrina!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I am also very disappointed in Y&R and have not been watching!. I read the recaps on the Soap Opera Weekly website!. The show is getting absurd, but in all fairness, I've been seeing this on all the CBS soaps!. All we can hope is that someone will fix things soon!. My soaps are no longer "must see TV!."Www@Enter-QA@Com
Talking about Cane, I remember right after he got the job running Clear Springs, he made a call telling someone something about alot of money, which made me to believe that he was just using Jill and Cathrine!.!.!.!.!?!? Nothing more has been said about it, now he's the perfect son and I still feel somewhere in the back of my mind!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.he's fishy!!
If they don't wrap up this Gloria thing, I'm going to scream! Does Jill want Jeffrey or just Gloria out of Jabbot or in jail!?!?

i must admit, its been easy to miss a few shows!. nothing seems to happen!. The Victor/Sabrina thing is a bit eeew, but thats how Victor is, he likes them young!. But the way he has treated Victoria by taking her job and giving it to Adam, wow!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Things will pickup soon, May sweeps is just around the corner so that will help!. Plus they will be laying ground work for their summer story lines to attract the younger demographics!

I agree!. I have put off Y&R for awhile now because of the horrible LML writing! I have been keeping up with updates, so I still know what is going on, but I still haven't picked back up on it yet!. It will take the new writers a little time to be able to drag these s/l out of the funk that the LML crew put them in!. I do believe things are starting to look up for them, and it is pulling me back in slowly!. Give them a couple more weeks!. I am sure they will get the storylines back to Y&R caliber!Www@Enter-QA@Com

It makes me glad I have to tape the show!. I can fast forward through most of the crap and boring stuff right now!. I've got it down to about 12 minutes I think!.
SAD SAD SAD!.!.!.!.so many loose ends from before the writers strike!.!.!.!.which I agree I thought we would have gotten fresh shows by now!.!.!.!.!.I know May sweeps are coming thank goodness!. But so is summer and they usually try to get the teen story lines going in the summer to get that crowd of viewers!.
I wish they would have just brought back shows from the first years rather than mess up what they had going!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have heard complaints on the soap opera message boards that I post on that the new writers are writing exactly like LML!. Too bad Maria Arena only married into the royalty; I am convinced she doesn't know Y&R history either, creating equally unbelievable storylines!. I remain hopeful for Josh Griffith though, but I am now sure there are people leftover from Latham's team of misfits!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
