I missed American Idol 4/22?!
Question: I missed American Idol 4/22!?
I set my VCR to tape it and it didn't record for some reason!. Can somebody give me a rundown on what happened!? And who did the best and who did the worst!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

this is the order in which they sang:
1!. syesha; she sang "one rock and roll too many from starlight express- she did soo good, very upbeat, probably the best performance she has done all year! simon thought it was "sexy"!
2!. jason; he sang "memory" from cats- way too big for him! it sucked, really bad! he didnt even really know what he was doing! judges didnt really like it, simon said it was the longest two minutes of his life!
3!. brooke; she sang "you must love me" from evita- the song was a little too big for her, and she forgot the words at the beginning and asked the band to start over!. there was a weird awkward silence for a couple seconds!. but she did okay considering the fact that she looked like she was going to break down crying at any moment! paula was way to harsh, she gave her a ton of crap for starting over! simon said he would have done the same thing that brooke did but said the performance wasnt good at all!. and that she is probably going to regret it!
4!. david arch; he sang "think of me" from phantom of the opera- he was good, as usual! it was very forgetable! thats what simon said! paula said he made it into a pop song, which made no sense at all, i think she was drunk tonight!
5!.carly; she sang "jesus christ superstar" from jesus christ superstar- ohhmmgee, she was soo amazing! and she totally rocked it out! best performance of the night! the judges thought it was one of her best performances! and she had this really cute dress on, it was adorable! and then she held up this t-shirt that said, "simon loves me (this week)!" it was sooo cute and funny! she by far my favorite, i want her to win!
6!. david cook; he sang "music of the night" from phantom of the opera- he did really good! and it was kinda cool seeing a different side to him since he wasnt singing a rock song! wasnt the best ever, but it was pretty good!. definantly my fav guy of the night!
my opinion is that carly and syesha did the best for sure!
they brought the house down :]
jason and brooke are most definantly in trouble this week!

Syesha - "One Rock 'n Roll Too Many" - She did really great tonight! Her performance was a little cheesy but she showed a lot of personality & was fun to watch!.
Jason - "Memory" - Definitely not a good day for Jason!. The judges all agreed that the song did not suit his voice, & the risk he took by performing such a well-known song turned against him!.
Brooke - "You Must Love Me" - Personally, I thought it was the worst of the night, & others did as well!. About 2 lines in, she forgot the lyrics & had to start over!. Even ignoring this mistake, the song wasn't all too good!. With this song she wasn't able to show her vocal abilities!.
David Archuleta - "Think of Me" - It was good, but it wasn't his best!. There was nothing new, as he tends to sing the same type of song in the same type of fashion!. If you listened to him once before, you'll know what he sounded like today!.
Carly - "Jesus Christ Superstar" - She did very well today! She had a lot of fun with the song & it was entertaining!. She got to show off her range as well, even though as Simon pointed out, at one point it almost sounded like she was screaming!.
David Cook - "Music of the Night" - A different style of music for David, but it definitely worked!. I thought it was the best of the night!. It was an unusual choice but it allowed him to show to the voters that he can sing songs from any genre, & he got to show off his range as well!. It was a little boring compared to the rest of his performances, but he sang it very well!.
My predictions for the bottom 3 (though I don't agree with it):

I think Brooke will leave!. Today's performance was a disaster!. Here are my honest & unbiased opinions on who was best to worst:
