Question: Who basically have given up watching tv !?
Last time i watch tv was about 3 years ago!. Gaming and internet researching!.Just curious if others are /were sick if the american idol, csi and other reality tv!.Knowing now that the new is biased , dont even tune in for news !.What about you > what are your thoughts!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Your best bet would be Polls & Surveys since everybody in THIS section is either asking a question about a TV show, or answereing one!.

And I like to watch TV, but the quality of shows in the last 2-3 years or so (mainly reality shows) is very pathetic!. But what's even worse is that there are obviously SO many people watching all these reality shows because they keep making more and more!. It's getting out of hand!Www@Enter-QA@Com

DVR has resurrected my TV watching!. now i can tape cool shows i wouldn't normally be in front of a TV for and watch them later!
i get my news on-line, i hate how network news has so much human interest drivel!. you should try watching channels like the history channel, discovery, etc!. you can learn a lot!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I still watch TV daily for a few hours!. I have shows that are my favorites but I will admit that the reality shows have gotten way out of hand!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Sadly, it is hard for me to give up my love for television (I know it is sad isn't it!?), but I have managed to make it through the past month and a half with no television!. I just recently got channel four, and I watch those shows when they are on, but regularly no I don't watch to much anymore!. I am just happy that I love to read, or else I might have fallen over from boredom a long time ago!. But, more power to ya!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, a few years ago I gave up TV for 6 months as my New Year's resolution!. I kind of got to cheat though because I lived with my family and my rule was that if someone else was watching, I could watch with them (but I couldn't ask them to turn on the TV for me and I couldn't watch by myself!.) I was pretty proud of lasting that long!.
Of course, the easiest way to avoid TV is to live somewhere where there isn't a TV!. I went to Austria for a year as an exchange student and didn't watch TV for that year!. Good things came out of that experience though!. I met my husband there!.
Now I live in Austria and we don't have a TV, but I found YouTube, so I can still watch my favorite shows whenever I want to!.
