I've been watching Degrassi since it first aired on The-N!.
I love Degrassi!. It's just so real!. Degrassi isn't like any of the American shows that we have!. And I know it is filmed in Canada, and that it's a Canadian show, so maybe that is why it's so real!. American teen shows usually just sugarcoat the issues, or don't even bother with them!. Every teen can relate to Degrassi and that it why I like it!. It deals with real issues that teens face everyday!.

Little side note here; Did you know that loads of shows on Nickelodeon in the 90s-early 2000s were Canadian!? Are You Afraid Of The Dark!?, Caitlin's Way, Angela Anaconda, etc!.!. All Canadian!.
It's funny how I really never knew about Canada at all until I saw Degrassi, then I find out that most of the shows that I grew up on are in fact Canadian!.
Loads of Canadian actors too!

Sometimes I do get tired of the show though!. It seems like they have a new pregnancy every other week, but I like that each pregnancy is due to a different thing or how its dealt with differently!. Let's face it though, even though it may seem like Degrassi is recycling old storylines, some high schools do actually go through that with multiple girls pregnant!
It may seem like Degrassi exaggerates a lot or that they don't deal with the issues like how we think it should be dealt with, but we have to remember that it is only a TV show, it won't be 100% the way it is in real life!.
I love to learn, so I sometimes look up issues that were dealt with on the show [STDs, Drugs, Date Rape Drugs, etc!.!.] because I feel that maybe if I know that information, maybe those facts could help me one day if I ever needed to help someone or if I was in some sort of situation!.!.

P!.S!. I've watched Degrassi Jr!. High and Degrassi High too!. I loved seeing how that series was!. I actually think I prefer the old school Degrassi better!. Those series were just so raw!. They seemed so real because most of the cast never acted before!. Degrassi Jr!. High and Degrassi High also dealt with more issues, as well!. I feel they did, anyway!. I just loved the 80s vibe!.!. Waching those two series is so different then watching Degrassi: TNG!.!. I just love it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

YES! Degrassi is the best show EVER!. All the drama in it just adds to the little bit of comedy in it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
