I thought it was a very funny and amusing film, I enjoyed it!. Unfortunately, I think unless you are in a situation where you are stopped from seeing your children, then it is impossible to say whether he was obsessed or not! Just because he didn't have a job, it didn't make him a bad father, so his wife was wrong to stop him from seeing them!. In that situation, if I was a father, I would do whatever it took, legally, to see my kids!.

i love mrs!. doubtfire!.!.its sweet!.!.no he wasnt obssessed they were his kids and pretending to be the nanny was the only way he could see them!. i wish my father was that like when he found out he wasnt gonna see me again, instead he didnt even care!.

That movie is actually a classic in my family!. I was about 8-9 when it came out, my brother was 5!.!. at one point we watched the movie every day for a month!.
On a much more mature note, I still enjoy it!. Just a few days ago I called my cousin to say "I just had a drive by fruiting!" LOL (what Doubtfire says when Brosnan gets hit by the pool)Www@Enter-QA@Com
